One of the main reasons I've had issues coming up with inspiration for my blog lately was because I was bursting at the seams with excitement.
We did it! We actually did it! Jake and I bought a house!!
|First time opening the door to OUR HOUSE!|
I kept sitting down to write blog posts but then would get lost in the day-dream of our new house and all the things we have planned for it and then the topic I was about to write seemed dull by comparison.
Plus there was all of the stress that came with being on the committee for the Hespeler Reunion as well. (Which, if you follow me on Instagram you'd have seen the pictures!)
|That's me under the "Cambridge" in my committee shirt which I wore the crap out of that weekend. |
It has since become a paint shirt :)
But the reunion is now over, and we took possession of our house last Friday so I no longer have any kind of excuse to be negligent. Lucky you!
In the near future, be prepared to see a post about how the reunion went, the events leading up to us putting in an offer, and all of the renovations that we have already started and will continue to do for quite a while.
In the meantime, meet our new house:

We have a lot of work to do and I look forward to sharing our brand new journey with all of you!!
Wish me luck!
